This post is beautiful. Dr. Davis was by far one of my favorite teachers ever at SHS and just the epitome of a "good man." Even though I have been gone from SHS for over 20 years and gone from Massachusetts for 10, I still remember him fondly and think about him often. In fact, I just mentioned him in a "Teacher Appreciation Week" Facebook post as one of ones who had a huge impact on my life. I'm sure you know how many people loved your dad, but I bet it never hurts to hear from another one.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505776683877728016.post-32349809979939542272013-01-30T12:34:39.039-05:002013-01-30T12:34:39.039-05:00will consult this list frequently - thanks! if I h...will consult this list frequently - thanks! if I had to vote, I'd vote for "groused" as my favJackinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505776683877728016.post-28114525770596993072013-01-30T09:04:12.355-05:002013-01-30T09:04:12.355-05:00"By George, this is extremely useful!" s..."By George, this is extremely useful!" she erupted. I was able to see a more normal day with TIny there and therapists coming in and out. She sat in a wheel chair and we listened to Natalie Merchant and talked (sort of) about the experience of working on that book a bit. Again, I tried to make her laugh, so I heard her voice in there...
